I meant that Wood and Villanueva have been mediocre throughout their careers. I understand its early and the weather has sucked so yes lets see where we are in mid May with some of these guys

Nobody has really torn the cover off the baseball. Seattle got some bloops and the Cubbies had three hits going into the 9th night before last.

Cubbies were facing Holland night before last with wind and 39deg so futility might be expected. TEX was facing Villanueva and it was 58deg today.

IMO TEX thought the game would be rained out and last thing on their mind was playing a game today. And most didn't.
