If you're only about money, then you're not about winning. The instant you say that money is what matters most, that tells me that all you really care about is doing your job to keep your head above water and keep the money rolling in.

It doesn't tell me that you are the type of coach who is willing to go above and beyond.....to sit in the office until 9 every night picking apart film.

At no single point has Joseph's secondary performed at Championship level....

Last season it had decent statistics due to the fact that nobody threw the ball in the Big 10, and nobody needed to against us because they could just run through the garage door sized holes that we gave them.

This year we got better up front and began stopping the run and looky what happened....all of a sudden teams like Georgia with a backup Offense are throwing for over 300 yards on us.

It is an important factor though in anyone's career, football or not.

Maybe Terry Joseph doesn't think he'll ever win anything big at Nebraska?
Maybe it is about "winning", and the money is secondary. Of course he's not going to say something like that and burn a bridge.
