That was blood & guts by Will Grier. Great to see that kid play like an upper classman. He grew up a lot in that 4th quarter. Defense got its shit pushed in for 3 quarters, then decided to show up for a couple of series at the end. Good thing it was the Vols. Ole Miss or LSU would have whipped our ass the way we were playing.

I like Grier a lt. Most of his mistakes are just experience. But the next four games are going to be rough....

I think our O line hung in there and started getting into a groove in the 4th quarter. They kept Grier on his feet for the most part in the last few crucial drives. Look for that to improve like crazy as we go forth. Those two freshmen tackles are gonna be superb.

Let's not get carried away with admiration of Grier just yet. He still has a lot to improve on, and he better start soon. The next month is nothing but tough games.

who's carried away? he makes freshman mistakes and they are giong to continue all year but if he stays a couple years he has upside to be a legit qb.....
