For me it's definitely UCLA first and Louisville second.

UCLA for obvious reasons, but I thought Ville' was done with how they closed out the year and thought they'd for sure choke against either UC Irvine (almost did) or get taken down by a good Northern Iowa team. Now they get NC State which should be interesting, but man…. their path to the Elite 8 is pretty easy considering their seed.

Also surprised @ Oklahoma a little bit.

Agree with UCLA and Louisville.

Oklahoma doesn't surprise me much in and of itself, but when looking at how the rest of the Big 12 shit the bed, I'm surprised that OU and WVU are the ones left standing.

I can't claim to be surprised by WVU though as I actually had them in the Sweet 16 (mainly based on how overrated I thought Maryland was)

Part of me is wondering if we're going to be having this same conversation about U of L next week. That region is such a clusterfuck I think they might be the favorite in that mess.

Yes surprised but only because the Bruins were included in the first place.

UCLA is listed as the 16th team this year.

I get it.

Probably just homer speaking here but

Bruins -v- Zags - TWO!
Here goes...

~ Bruins are a more confident team than last these two met.
~ Even then, the Bruins sort of figured them out back in the second half then.
A strong first half this time, could pave the way for a Bruin upset.

I'm hoping for a good game, Bruins winning of course. :thumb:

Teams left in the tourney that always do well in the tourney are teams like Zona, Gonzaga, Louisville, & Ucla.

Not surprised OU made the sweet 16. They are veteran team and play solid defense. Getting further though will surprise me.

I don't know boss. I'd love to come back and eat crow on this one. Trust me, other than AZ winning, there is nothing more I want to see than UCLA being the second consecutive Pac team to send GU packing in March. But GU is going to have to give this one away as much as UCLA is going to have to take it. I think UCLA can definitely win this game, and I hope they do with all my heart. But I was hoping that GU would be playing ISU for this game, and not UCLA. Fuck it though, go get them, hopefully you can send them home. GO Pac!

I'm just saying...

Even or + Bruins at the half, Bruins take it.

I'm calling it now.

UCLA is more surprising for getting in at all.
Their results are not surprising at all.

THey got the fortunate "2nd game" versus Cinderella.
We always see a 13, 14 seed win one game than get beaten handily in the next round.

Getting in - Suprising
Beating a #6 and #14 - not surprising at all

............

NC STATE is by far and away the only real surprise.
