NFL teams are calling Bears about Leonard Floyd's availability

It doesn't appear that we're very interested. He doesn't have a sack, but he's gotten a good amount of pressures when not being utilized in coverage and actually just had his best game of the season. Contrary to popular belief - he's actually been having a decent season. Just can't hit pay dirt with a sack.

I wasn't watching closely, but yea, supposedly Floyd had his best game of the season as far as pressuring the QB since he wasn't asked to play in coverage much.

The trade rumors were probably flying on the sole basis that his option is worth something like $9+ million and we might not be willing to pay that for someone who isn't delivering some sacks. I'd be curious to know what the offers were like as well.
