Possibly. But no way am I putting a guy that’s been in the league more than a decade and has zero playoff wins in the top 10.
Barry Sanders in the era of feature backs carried this team to 1 playoff win in a decade. Being able to lead the Lions to the playoffs at all is pretty much equivalent to winning a SB for another team. Thats how big the handicap is in this place.

Whatever buddy. Keep pretending a message board poster knows more than professional NFL talent evaluators.

I don't. But I do know I've never been fired from an NFL position for giving a 1st round pick for a QB that's 16 games below .500. And anyone that does will be.

RBs don't matter.

The thing about Stafford is, how many years does he have left? He's taken quite a beating over his career. I would be leery of trading much for him.

If you are, say, the Rams and you think you may be close to a ring with a better QB, maybe this makes sense. But I think it's not a move you make unless you think you are really in SB contention the next 3 years.

I could see Washington making a serious push for him but Indy is ideal. I think Stafford is a good amount better than Rivers. And Reich would love a guy with Stafford's arm talent.

No way. That is a steep price for an aging QB.

That's a hilarious overpay in terms of picks, but Goff probably had negative value at this point and Stafford arguably makes the Rams SB contenders again in the NFC. It's not awful for the Rams, but it's a slam-dunk win for the Lions.
