Anointed One
Gone Country!
I could see him landing in Indy or Denver... #1 and #2... Be surprised to see him land anywhere else...
Ebron has horrible hands. But he’s one of three first round TE’s Staff had in Detroit. Receivers were usually a plus, aside from a couple stretches with injuries.Stafford will go for more than a first rounder, unless it's a top 5 pick, and even then you still might need more. He is a top 12 talent who has never had a running game, never had much of a defense, never (to my recollection) had multiple top flight receivers and never had a quality tight end.
How the hell do you dock him for no play off wins. I don't think any other QB would have had much play off success with that team. Archie Manning says hold my beer.
He's probably got 3 or 4 more years before his skills start to fade. There will be several teams interested in his services.
...and at 33, he probably has at least 5 more good years ahead.Stafford is better than at least 20 other starting QBs in the NFL right now.
The Bears want Stafford for right now, while the Lions are thinking 3-5 years down the road. If the Bears offered a big enough package, I wouldn't let the divisional rivalry block a deal.If the Colts offered their late 1st rounder in a straight up deal, I don’t think that’s bad
that’s a roster that is pretty complete, and if they are high on Stafford, that could be a move they make
Bears make sense too, just don’t see many divisional trades
Brady isn't retiring. If Brady wins and retires I’d like to see Tampa go after Stafford.
Or Carolina's backup option but I think Watson gets traded first and starts the domino effect on QB's.He’s such an interesting case
but besides that, the Colts make too much sense, and I think that will happen
LOL at no better than Flacco or Keenum, this is just hilarious. And he's really no better than Flacco or Keenum. It's certainly within reason that Denver would try to bring in Stafford. Though that would just keep Denver mired in mediocrity for 2-3 more seasons and delay any chance for all the young guys to actually develop.
The Bears have a better shot at Watson and I don't think that's very likely either. If the Colts offered their late 1st rounder in a straight up deal, I don’t think that’s bad

No. His comments are showing he doesn't.Do you even watch football?
QB's are playing longer....and at 33, he probably has at least 5 more good years ahead.

Like somebody else mentioned.....he's carried them for a while.....has a lot of 4th quarter comebacks. It's an interesting speculative question. How much of his lack of playoff success is based on Stafford, and how much on the Lions? In his early career he was a China Doll with injuries but he's been healthy for a while.
I wish him well.
They probably aren't getting Watson. Never said they were. Just said Watson is actually worth it.
Stafford isn't worth half that. He's worth a 6th at the most. Some team may be stupid enough to give a 2nd or a 3rd, but no chance is he worth a starting QB, a 1st, plus additional picks. You're insane if you believe that's what he's worth.
LOL at no better than Flacco or Keenum, this is just hilarious.
This thread will be legendary if the Broncos are the team to trade a 1st for stafford
