weird. the place I am looking shows all of his signing bonus was paid up already.
I wonder if they moved one of his roster bonuses to signing bonus to make the trade?

LOL
this is also listed at bottom of page of where I am looking now. No explanation but shows the 19 mil dead cap space  LOL

They updated the numbers after the trade.

Stafford has zero dead cap.....for the Rams. That’s why the contract looks like that. Spotrac is always on the ball. I was trying to find Goff’s contract the moment I heard of the trade last night and they were busy making the adjustments and all the links to his contract were 502.

So the situation has to be perfect for Stafford to even be above average? And that’s worth two 1st round picks? LOL.
A QB doesn't win a SB by himself.

Not even horse face.

YEP, and they don't lose by themselves
ultimate team sport

BTW...you Ram fans are working overtime to justify this trade. Seems kinda insecure to me.

Elway brought some very poor Broncos teams to 3 Super Bowls before he was able to win one. A great QB overcomes a whole lot. And a poor QB doesn’t elevate the team around them.

I’d say the D and TD did more than him. He was good at missing open guys and throwing picks though lol

That I will agree with you on. I've always said Elway carried weak teams to Super Bowls only to be blown out by NFC Juggernauts.

So, are you saying Stafford wont take them to a super bowl? The NFC is pretty weak right now. I wouldn't say it's out of the question

It’s certainly not out of the question that Stafford can bring them to a Super Bowl; I just wouldn’t trust a guy that’s been in the league for more than a decade and is 0-fer in the postseason to do it.

If he was a big time QB, he would have won at least one of the playoff games he played in.

I'm just glad we didn't get Watson. That would be a ton of money we would be stuck with beyond 2022, Stafford's last few years would leave him with zero fighting chance at a post season run, and the Lions would have had to give up first round picks, limiting their future even further.

I think whatever team gets him is going to go through serious growing pains. Unless he goes to an established contender. Which not many of them are in need of QBs.
