Staying home: Lebron James, Steph Curry, Dame Lillard, Kawhi Leonard, Andre Drummond, Gordan Hayward, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Anthony Davis, James Harden, LaMarcus Aldridge, John Wall, Blake Griffin,

Well, Carmelo has not been in the playoffs lately, but I agree that some on that list look a little bad. It is tough to blame anybody though, given the health risks of traveling to Brazil.

Not sure how this team will fare. They are a little light on playmaking and they have a couple guys like DeRozan who don't belong on the roster. I think a mistake USA basketball routinely makes is that they don't incorporate enough role players. Give me a knock down shooter instead of DeRozan. As talented as Cousins is, the team has enough scoring. I would rather see another rim protector to back up Jordan and a couple defensive minded vets who are okay with taking a back seat.

Team USA is fine, IMO.

Melo has the perfect game for international rules and has always done well at the olympics. Klay is going to murder the international 3 point line. Tons of defense in the lineup too.

I may be wrong but I think people are a little too worried about how we will perform with this roster, which is much more talented than any other roster in the world even without the superstars. The biggest issue is chemistry in my opinion. Other teams have been playing together forever. We will probably have to rely on Melo, Durant, and Kyrie to do a significant portion of the scoring.

We always have had the most talent, chemistry is the equalizer. I worry about it with this group. There is plenty of scoring, that will not be the problem. How well can this group defend and how well will they share the ball. That will determine their success.

Should have gone to Manimal.

They did him the same way they did Candace Parker.

Used the shit out of them in the lead up, inexplicably left them off the roster when they were the best players on the team during International play.

Shame on them.
