Great pic! Let's count the players in it who aren't going this year.

:behindsofa:

*shakes fist at 43*

/No Iggy (no surprise, but he has two gold medals to keep him company)
//Will miss Scott Niedermayer on the big ice.

No Logan Couture either. But he did just break something last night. That said, Nash just doesn't make sense to me. Last night was his first game with multiple goals...and probably his first great game this season. I dunno, he just hasn't impressed me since the move to NY, and I can't believe he'd get in over Giroux or St. Louis. I suppose it's a size thing? The biggest snub would be Giroux in my opinion...but he just had such a stinky start. Killed him. I'm happy for Kunitz making it, but I just know he's scoring some important goal and I'll be bitter.

I think we also need to remember that Stamkos may not be ready for Sochi (it looks promising, but you just never know).

When he was injured, my conservative guess was mid-February. He's probably a bit ahead of schedule, but nothing unheard of. (People can go ahead and call him superman though...it'll help motivate :) ) I think he's back the week before the Olympics...but that's based on nothing except where he is on his exercises, etc.

He was our best forward before being cheap shooted up high by Stuart in the San Jose game...
