I don't think there was much that Mack could have done to keep his job aside from win the NCG by like a hundred points or so. The teasips were ready to run him out of Austin the year after Cart McCoy left and they went 5-7 and Aggie beat them at home. I thought he was going to be canned the year after that until a ref saved his job at Kyle Field.

Sumlin got a raise because USC and NFL was trying to lure him away. We got a good coach and it takes $$$ to keep him. Had nothing to do with going 9-4.

Hard to say. So may teams in the SEC lost a lot of talent in the back field. Our offense will be ok, don't know who will QB but we have 3 really good RB and a darn good OL even with Matthews gone. Defense has to get better. Honestly, I don't think we will be as bad as everyone says.
