Taysom Hill out for the season

It's easy to get lost in the outcome of a game like this. For one team it's great triumph, and for the other it's ridiculous heartbreak.

It is important to know, however, that something far worse came from today. Tayson Hill, who has dealt with bad luck his entire career, was dealt another blow in our game. His final season with BYU is over after 3 quarters of the first game.

So here's to Taysom Hill. Even after losing in crushing fashion, we still get to watch the Huskers play at least 11 more games this year. Hill will never get to see the field again. Hats off to him for playing tough with that injury for a good chunk of the game.

Nebraska couldn't beat BYU without their stud Nose tackle and without their stud QB and the two defensive starters that were suspended for their Memphis fighting.

We were also without our top player at LB and our best TE.

And then dealt with a couple injuries at TE during the game as well.

I feel bad for Hill. 2 years in a row lost to injury way too prematurely.

I am an admitted Power 5 snob, but that kid could play at any level.

I have to admit I'll miss watching him play. Hope he gets into coaching ASAP. Seems like a really smart kid.

Call me sour grapes but I don't feel bad for BYU having to play the rest of the year without Hill. I feel for the kid but not the team. Buncha dirty Mormons. Between the brawl in the Miami bowl and some questionable plays/tackles yesterday, they can lick my asshole.

Yea that shot to the legs really pisses me off.

Hill is a good kid though and this is the 3rd time he's sustained a season ending injury. Just thought I'd uphold our reputation and acknowledge him. He's one hell of a player and he played 2 quarters of that game hurt.
