Taysom Hill considers himself a franchise QB, would leave Saints for 'right opportunity'

He's like a bigger Kordell Stewart. I love the change of pace and it's great entertainment every time he touches the ball, but I have a hard time seeing him run an offense for the entire game.

I always heard self praise is better than no praise, guess Hill heard that as well.

I consider myself a misunderstood genius with a 8" donk. At the end of the day neither of us is correct
For $30 million/year all of us consider ourselves franchise QB material. For anyone who plays the position at that level, it would be foolish not to say this.

This has little or nothing to do with Hill being a potential starting QB. This is simply a fluff piece that acts as a heads-up to Saints fans that Hill will likely be subject to a 1st round RFA tag. Hill could potentially be offered $4M+ per year as a back-up QB or 'slash' player. It makes some sense for the Saints to tag him for now, (with $0 guaranteed), and offer him a less generous contract later in preseason.

...oh, and Hill gets to say that he'd like to play QB because as a QB he 'might' have more value. Whatever. Heads-up noted.

The dude is about to be 30 years old and has thrown 13 career passes, hitting on 6 of those with 0 TD and 1 INT. He was a 26-year old NFL rookie who suffered four (FOUR!) season-ending injuries in college. He should be grateful the Saints are making him a part of their gameplan and utilizing him as they are. He's a gadget player, not a starting QB.

Pretty much this. That guy should take his millions and enjoy being a cult hero in New Orleans. Stay there the rest of his life and never have to buy another drink. If he even drinks.

Oh please let some sucker team sign a 30-year-old with 13 career passes and no passing TDs to a franchise QB deal.

Hill will be a starting QB within the next season or two.

Odds? I would bet any Sports Book would give you 20-1 and laugh as they're taking your money. Taysom Hill will never be a starting QB, there are practice squad players that are better options.

He's a slick gadget player, but he's no starting QB.

He actually reminds me of what I thought Eric Crouch could become if he had decided to set aside his pride.

I don't want to take your money. Plus I doubt that you'd actually pay up. It's never smart to gamble with strangers online.

not real money...vCash...and yes, I always pay up. But to be honest, I rarely lose. Cleaned up this past post-season. 4 avatar bets and took all their money.

I'm saying Hill will be a starting QB this upcoming season or the next (most likely in NO).
I'll wager your entire $3000 vCash on it. Keep your made up 20-1 odds...straight up.

And 3 month avatar bet.

You in?

If Kevin Kolb and Matt Flynn can get the deals they got, I'm sure Hill will get a look from some pathetic franchise.
