I will say this. I only balk at Texas and Michigan in the past few years on their "tradition" stances.
SC doesn't do it, ND was 1 win away from a NATTY 2 years ago, Stoopes is on the hunt again, Bama.... Well, ya, they are Bama.
I can take Texas off the list with the hiring of Strong I suppose (wait and see)
But, Michigan...with their importance of having a Michigan man at the helm. That may have worked in the 60s. But this is a new age of cfb. Time for those blue bloods to catch up or they will be looking up at progressive programs for years to come.
Alabama has tradition. Yet they are still progressive, Texas rolled the dice on a hire, which IMO is the only step to take in this day and age of cfb.
