I fully expect more energy and urgency from the players on Sunday. I'd be a bit cautious about any of this translating into victories. The team lacks a QB capable of generating the will and belief in the offensive players that because he is "that guy" they are going to score and force the opposition to actually beat them. I admire the grit and dog in Heinicke, but c'mon, really?

Someone recently asked if RR is on the verge of losing the locker room. Well the answer is no, he isn't on the verge of losing the locker room, he lost it during the off season, when he failed to adequately resolve his own stated "top priority."

That all stated, here's a bit of bittersweet "good" news. Now that the season is half over, there are going to be more victories in this second half, 3 (possibly 4) being greater than 2, some will see it as better. The bittersweet part comes at or near the end of the year, as we get a repeat of last year's questions about draft positioning vs winning meaningless games.

Last year all of the quote/unquote top QBs were gone by round 15. Three guys went in the 2nd.

Hindsight is 20/20 but the Skins missed a good chance the year before. I don't blame them for taking Young but Herbert would look good in whatever uniform the team is sporting now or soon.

Should have beaten Chicago out to have drafted fields, but they didn't want to do that.

Could have traded for any of the guys that you listed earlier, but they didn't want to do that either again under the pretense that it would have cost too much.

Brady is probably psychin himself out this week by reading almost year old articles saying Hiencke gave Btrady and the Bucs a run for their money and Chase Young saying he wants Brady.

Brady thinking to himself as he's eating his perfectly vitamin balanced, tofu avocado ice cream "Run for our money huh. He wants me huh. Just wait till they get a load of me."

i get it. There's no reason as a fan to expect anything more than just watching guys play for a job next season .

And, many of the 1 year deal guys won't be here anyway. Next year will feel like a rebuild with so many new faces.
