Thank God I'm a Country Boy is one of the more bizarre choices in the history of sport, but damn if it doesn't take me back to those summer afternoons in the bleachers above the bullpen.

Not sure how THAT song became popular at THAT place, but it is what it is.



The Blue Jackets play "This town" by O.A.R. a lot, and a snippet of "For those about to rock" when they fire the cannon.

I remember them playing this back when the Pens were only available on some obscure local channel called KBL. This is the theme the Pens used to take the ice with back in the day. This song reminds me of Badger Bob and that 91 team. I think they still use it, today.. Haven't been to a game this season though as I continue my ban of giving the NHL any money this season.

The music at the ACC over the years has easily been the worst/silliest of any building, anytime, ever.

You get to hear TV theme songs: The Jefffersons theme song (Moving on up), and Welcome back Kotter.

You also get to hear the organist jam along with Saga's - Wind him up, and Toto's - Hold the line.

So to answer your question -- there's no Leaf related music I can remotely relate to.

Such a good sports' song. Right after they play the Caps' crowd favorite "Unleash the Fury," they fire up Welcome to the Jungle. If you can hear it over the crowd, I get goosebumps sometimes.

They used it as recently as last year when I went to a game. And now I'm amped for the morning.

And I've always associated Rock and Roll with hockey. When I was a kid and that song played, I would think, "Hey, that's the hockey song."
