LOL - what you are doing is the definition of Monday Morning QB & yes you went out of your way during the preseason to state how great the Redskins were & that they have the best talent & should win the division. You were completely blind to their weaknesses since apparently you see everything from week to week & never see things objectively or see the big picture.

That is very true. However - if he were to show progress for that mess in the Bay area a lot of folks will be more focused on that & not the SB (not sure if that will ever happen - we will see). Time has a way of making people see things differently.

You perhaps have not written him off, but you constantly present these trade proposals for KC & often cite the Giants game as the reason to consider moving on w/o him. You are the one who doesn't get it - they are not trading him.

Great example. Reid obviously survived this one & has gone on to do a great coaching job in KC. I am in no way absolving Shanahan of the blame. Just stating that there is plenty of blame to go around & yes he can survive this. Life goes on.

Yeah, there's blame to go around. The RB who missed the blitz p/u. Ryan for taking a terrible sack. the defense /Def Co, Quinn. the OT who held Chris Long, The kid who picked 6ed Brady got his hands on that ball that JE made that sick catch on. I'm sure all of em have ran certain plays through their mind a 1000 times.

To be fair I think dean's been all over the place on KC and is talking nonsense in this thread about Shanahan and coaching BUT I don't get what the problem is with listening to offers. Shouldn't you do that with any player ever?

I'd give a little credit to Ryan, Jones, Bryant, the OL, Beasley etc myself. SAs wedll as Quinn. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the Falcons though. That was an epic fail of major proportions.

Frisco may as well let Kyle be the GM as well. HC, OC, play caller, head of player personnel. Only jobs he doesn't have is washing the uinis and putting out the towels.

One thing is evident. Kyle doesn't lack confidenceeh.

Some mistakes? He is now the poster boy for how to blow a Super Bowl with a huge lead. I already broken down on why that is the case. Its obvious that you do not understand in game play calling. Move on.

Whether the current asst coaches stayed or not - it was/is going to be tough for the Falcons next season. Recent SB losers have had a tough time the following year. In addition - the Falcons are in tough division w/ the Panthers only one year removed for the SB & the Bucs coming on strong. The competition from the rest of the NFC is also tough. Finally - you never know how they will fare in terms of injuries. Could be very tough.

Sarkisian has on one year NFL experience in Oakland as a QBs coach. It will be interesting to see how he fares as an NFL OC.

LOL - hopefully he lasts longer than a year w/ the Falcons. Talk about a resume that is all over the map - this guy will probably match Larry Brown (the coach) in terms of # of coaching stints when all is said & done. His one game tenure as Alabama O coordinator has to be some type of record.
