Cam Newton scrambled up the middle and was hit at the CHI 1-yard line and fumbled the ball into the end zone. Big scrum and I think Carolina recovered the ball. Yep, they did. Louis Murphy. Cam bailed out. Whew!

LeSean McCoy out of the game getting looked at and Bryce Brown had about a 10-yard run down to the ATL 2-yard line. Fumbled the ball but somehow got it back.

Roethlisberger dumped a short pass off underneath for Rainey at the WAS 2-yard line and he dropped it after contact. Had a chance to score had he caught it but couldn't.

Then Mike Wallace almost came down with a one-handed TD catch at the pylon but they ruled him out. That was close. That would have been one of the best catches of the year that I've seen had he caught it.

Then Roethlisberger to Heath Miller for the TD. Steelers up 17-6. They are force-feeding him red zone looks this year.

2-yard TD run to the outside for McCoy. Started up the middle and then broke it outside and stiff-armed Samuel on the outside. Love watching the footwork when he runs.

It's a bad, bad week for games this week if you're just looking for great match-ups. And there's only 2 afternoon games again this week. Oakland at Kansas City and Giants at Cowboys.

I had some hopes for the Steelers and Redskins game but the skins defense just can't stop anything.

Stafford to Titus Young for a 46-yard TD. Lions about to be down 17-14. Pretty nice hook-up. Titus Young had his man beat pretty easily.

Ryan to Julio Jones now for a 63-yard TD. Matt Ryan deadly again today. 3 passing TDs in the first half. 12-13 for 157 and those 3 TDs. Still 6:33 in the first half. Falcons up 21-7.

Packers just blocked a Jags punt and after a whole lot of fumbling and bumbling, Packers recovered the ball in the endzone. The punter was standing at the 22 when they lined up.
