Me too. Have to be up by noon. Gotta cut the grass after lunch.Hate these late games
Did you read where Choo also said his elbow bothered him all season, and that his ankle initially did not need surgery...don't know how he may have known this unless a doctor told him so...but if true, then playing on it during the season caused the injury to increase to the point surgery was needed...and a cartilage tear to boot, which is serious. I share Rev's anger here. I applaud Choo's attitude and desire, but this is just stupid. We just signed this guy to a 7 year mega deal and we risked his future like this?? He should have been shut down, especially after we faded from contention by the all star break. Who's running this ship?? JD, training staff, ownership??? Time for some common sense ...
Well, if we get pretty far behind, may cut out ...Me too. Half get up at 5:15.
I hope our next manager doesn't promote the attitude that real men play through injuries. I would hope the next manager would never consider Yu a quitter for doing the smart thing.
I blame Choo and Wash. There is probably some blame to go to JD as well.
You young bucks can handle it.Me too. Half get up at 5:15.

AgreeGood to see Smolinski playing again.
Good to see Smolinski playing again.
Just saw another failure to help Tep with run support.Interesting note made by Buzz: Tepesch has the second worst run support in MLB this season.
Wish Scotsman were here to comment on this one. ha
didn't realize till he came to the plate. Good for him.
Should have been a hit for Beltre.

Where the heck is Adducci? And is Rios done for the year?Shame for him to come off the DL and immediately have to face major league pitching instead of having some minor league rehab AB.
He was swinging the bat extremely well before getting hurt.
