I'm hearing a lot of rumors that Denver and Washington are talking trade for Cravens and that we would play him at ILB, taking over for Todd Davis.

Su'a Cravens Trade Rumors: Broncos Reportedly in Talks to Land Redskins Safety

I think a late round pick would be decent value. Anything more would be overpayment. He hasn't played much at ILB and he almost retired last year after a concussion (week 4 or so of LAST season) put him out for that season and last. A lot of risk involved in this.

I firmly believe he wants to play on the same team with Cousins. ;)

Hearing a 5th this year and a conditional late round pick next year.

I would do that.
Not sure if I like that. I guess it is better than the 2nd or 3rd that they are talking about on the Redskins board, but I don't know. I wouldn't mind Talib for Su'a and maybe a 3rd or 4th or something around that. Like I said, there is a lot of risk with this guy. New position, injury, where is his head/does he have "love for the game"?

I would pass. A year for his brain to unscramble. Mike Shanahan move if I ever saw it.

Elway has been lucky so ..................................................................what the hell a 5th rounder for a chance ..If he is cut the other draft pick will probably not count.

If Talib is gone - the Broncos will need an enforcer type and a guy who can cover the TE

He had a hellava rookie year then seemed like he wanted to retire due to a concussion. I have no clue where his head is about being a long term player

I forgot as well last year when the skins beat the rams in the colosseum sua was there for the USC game on Saturday but didn't show on Sunday when his teammates were there. I think that pissed off the skins.

Think Stewart may be traded if this goes through ?
I doubt it. From what I have read, we want Su'a to play ILB next to BMarsh.

I think he would Contribute more than just special teams, but he would be worth a 5th rounder just to be an outstanding ST contributor.

It’s possible we run a 3-3-5 next year since he’s considered a Safety but we’r play him a hybrid S/ILB spot.

I'm all for Cravens but only or a late round pick. Not worth multiple picks IMO. His value shouldn't be there.

He has had injuries and retired and then un-retired days later. Not a real committed player, the injury history and very early retirement really hurts his stock, but could be a bragain for us. I just wouldn't offer much because I feel his value is low right now. That and he has switched between LB and S, tweener type. I'd take a chance on him as a bonus but not give up multiple picks for him.

a 2nd or 3rd is hiliarious.

Cravens was a 2nd rd pick himself who again has battled injuries, at once retired.. If they think they are getting a 2nd or 3rd for him they are funny.

I'd give up a 6th. If I talk to him and feel really good about him maybe a 5th (at the most)

Lots of talent, but isn't proven at this point he is a guy who can play special teams and compete at LB and goal line defensive packages.

There is a reason the Redskins have made him available. His value is low because of that.

The Redskins also called the patriots early in February to see if they might be interested in dealing for Cravens. He's an extremely intriguing player. He has the size to p-lay LB and the attitude as well as play Strong Safety. The media here jumped all over the idea and then cooled consideribly. Seems he's not 100% sure he want to keep playing pro football, regardless of where he plays. Like Belichick has said in the past, if a player says he's not sure about anything, he'll never be the same player he was before. Doesn't matter if it's questioning he ability to recover from an injury or thinking about retirement, once that thought is in their head, Belichick believes that they're done. The Ravens were interested in Cravens too and backed off.

Who knows? Maybe he just needs a change of scenery, like a Rocky Mountain point of view??

Which is why his value isn't high... He's already retired once and people are going to question his desire... People are interested for a low price.

Those of you thinking Cravens quit over concussion issues or whatever need to watch this video from last summer's training camp. This guy just isn't into football. You can't coach heart and he does not have it in him.

After walking out on the team right at the end of camp, leaving them unable to find a replacement, he lost his teammates even though he is in denial over that. He would have never been totally accepted after what he did. There was a lot of rumblings in his rookie season that he was healthy enough to return but didn't. He also walked out at USC and didn't bother to tell anyone.

Just as I predicted in September he suddenly found his passion once the money ran out. You want to go to battle with a guy who has to be talked into being motivated, be my guest. I can't believe the talk is a 2nd either, clearly his value has diminished.
