Not as funny as the Chinese miniature chainsaw my wife bought me to "cut" big branchs. Tried to cut a 1" maple branch and snapped the chain in about eleven seconds. Bought a Ryobi battery cutter and it refuses not to cut anything and never seems to need a recharge during my cutting sprees. Cleared about sixty square feet of palm branches and it never failed at all. That's funny.
Well you got lucky with the Ryobi is all I can say. For the most part they are garbage. Not as funny as the Chinese miniature chainsaw my wife bought me to "cut" big branchs. Agreed especially for home use. But if you're working in the industry you want the big 3, Porter Cable, Milwaukee or Bosch and to a lesser extent Dewalt. They are not as bad as they used to be.

I have Porter Cable at home. They are very good quality and I'm a retired contractor. I also have some Makita tools. They are amazing quality. I have a small angle grinder and circular saw. Would not trade either of those 2 for any other brand.Agreed especially for home use. Don't forget to uncover them in the morning after it starts to warm up!I have DeWalt, Ryobi and Black &Decker. I retired in 2013 so no need for work tools. I buy what I need for jobs at home.
Tonight I get to cover $7500 in plants and bushes with blankets and shower curtains so I don't lose them to Mr. Frost.
Yes, I have been through this before.Problem is that this cold snap will be Friday night, Saturday and Sunday into Monday morning.
Up north, everything we planted was tough enough to survive -40 and fifteen feet of snow. Pussy flora down here dies at +25.

Not a Husqvarna but the non-professional Husqvarnas are Husqvarnas noe either - they are made in Red Max factories.
If you spend less than 4-5 hundred on a saw, they are all fairly cheaply made.
