I may join in the jokes... because that's what we do, but I do believe man's best friend comes in all shapes and sizes. While they may not run deep in the tall grass, I've seen them like yours be quite ornery. I'm waiting for your post of one of your little guys mounting a greyhound or something.

They are just like me. Meh... to sex. The black one will hump the hell out of his doggy bed though. Give us a good steak dinner any day over sex.

I have female Shih Tzu. Been with us since 2005. She was supposed to be one of those little lap pooches. She 26 pounds and went after a Rotweiler that feel in love with her. Just glad I had her fixed at 16 weeks. I can't imagine what the hell the mix would look like or what you'd call it. ShihWeiler? Rotzu?

Nope. I was getting away from a group of very very stupid of people.

There had to be at least twenty adults. Almost all of them had small kids or little ones in strollers. I was with a the sister of my ex-fiance and grabbed her and her son and pulled way back. Decided to go see the giant turtles.

"He's a different guy in a couple of ways," Scarnecchia said. "No. 1, he doesn't have the wealth of experience that Tom has....."

He's done a couple of long interviews for ESPN and NFL Network. Both are piece mealing them. One of the wire services had a long excerpt from one of them and he said that Patriot fans have to be patient. That's where the above came from. He started it by saying that Stidham doesn't have much actual game experience and laughed and said by October 1 he'll be a veteran and he'll have all of the experience he needs to succeed or fail.

He'll have faced the Dolphins, Seahawks, Raiders and Chiefs. He'll know what it's like to face the iron of the league and the second tier teams. If the Patriots are 2-2 then he'll be needing either more help or more time. If he's 3-1 then he'll have made the grade and the expectations will continue. If he's 4-0 then Tom Brady will be but a dusty memory. On the other hand, if he's 1-3 there will be questions, if he's 0-4 then we'll all be looking forward to Trevor Lawrence.

It may not have come across that way, but I was really dissing the quote more than the man.

As for the experience, the team has plenty, as in plenty of experience nurturing nobodies through a season. Let's face it, Brady was a nobody who listened to his coaches and did what they said. His work ethic willed him to a place where his talents could take over. Same thing for Cassell, but he didn't have enough talent to go far... Stidham, by all accounts has a similar work ethic and seems to have significant talent. We'll see if he has the will to bring the two together.

I have been watching last years preseason games with Stidham pitching.

I have to say that Game 3 watching Brady and Meyers trying to get on the same page was tough.
Then watching Stidham come in and all of a sudden, Jakobi is a star and getting open and catching everything thrown his way was very exciting.
What does this mean? Havn't a clue but I'm very excited to watch the kid play! (both kids)
