I understand your point. If he works out I don't care what round they drafted him in. I would have liked to had Brisker too but if you get him you probably don't get Phil.

He reminds me a bit of Ironman. Matt took a year but after that he was good. He might be a little further along the Matt was though. We'll see.

I'm still upset Ioanidis is gone. Would have loved to have Mathis & Ioanidis as the primary back ups to Allen & Payne this year.

If you recall, in Settle's first two years or so, in his limited snaps he flashed when he got opportunities. I would expect something similar but maybe a bit more of a flash in his game since he was taken in rd 2. I really think he fits in nicely with this group and my gut says he gets quality snaps in year one. Some where in the neighborhood of 250+ meaningful snaps. (20 solo, 2 sacks, 1 TFL, 1 FR)

so far so good . can he keep it up in the preseason games ? that will be the test but you have to be happy that so far they are doing well
