Determining whether a guy was over drafted or a great draft are projections by people. When these guys get on the field is when you find out how good they are. If they under perform then than they were over drafted, if they perform well. Great choice.

RB was weird for several teams this year. Niners took RB Davis-Price from LSU in the 3rd rd and everyone feels it was a reach by a round or 2.

If you're a struggling team with aspirational thoughts on building a championship team, best evaluation of QB's, because they will be your centerpiece, must be done when they face equal or greater opposition.

At this point Howell projects to be a backup or at best a spot starter as his career progresses. That said, it's a very good thing to hope for better from him but that hope must be tempered, because it comes from the fact that you have a struggling team bereft of the talent that you need at the position.

Word. I think the only two tackles in the top 12 far as sacks were Donald who was tied for 4th most, but listed at #5 with 12.5 sacks. And Washington's Allen who was listed at #12, but was tied with 7 players and could've been anywhere from #8 to #13 with 9 sacks.

And considering Washington's run defense in a few games last year. A run stuffing DT isn't a bad thing.

@skinsdad62 Not that I'm outright disagreeing or disputing your opinion about Mathis as his first 3 years @ Bama aren't anything to write home about far as sacks/TFLs. Those senior years sack/TFL stats look like he may finally have gotten it though.

All things considered though. Of all the shit I read on the page. At this present time I most agree with the first comment in the comments section.. Though the comment from GM101 a little further down may have some merit about how things went down.

if this guy was picked in round 4 or 5 i wouldnt have disliked the pick . his RAS suggests thst is where he should have landed . much like mathis being in round 2 i just feel the value isnt there

that being said he can help the team but i just dont like 2nd and 3rd round picks being in back roles when we needed starters
