Still a Weakness

What do you see that still concerns you? Whether a weakness or doubt of players or positions?

I went with CB/DB. I am concerned with Austin's new scheme showing to have more man press. Not sure they can play on a island constantly. Slay is saying he is excited. We will definitely find out was he or will he be a good pick? Although I am concerned with DB situation, I am also glad we finally find out what they have in CB stable if Houston goes IR route. IMO not sure if young CB picks of recent can play more than a nickel role. See Mathis and Slay starting. Mathis played great last year, however a 34 year old starter is a concern to me.

Where is Swarm, anyway? Do we know whether he's ok, health-wise?

Everything else listed is a concern to me, Stafford and the secondary being the most concerning. Also concerning is our backup QB, Ziggy's health (shoulder surgery), Bell's health (knee), that Jason Jones is starting, and that both the offense and defense are learning new systems.

It's still the same thing with me.....DB/CB, We havn't addressed it seriously in many years.....Taking 3rd round draft picks and castoffs from other teams is not addressing it, It's simply glue trying to hold a dam together....Year after year that dam breaks and teams just go All Delta airlines on us by putting of Madden numbers on us.

Suh goes away, and everyone starts putting up NBA numbers on them like they did Chicago and Minnesota last season, placing them 31st and 32nd respectively.

I'd rather have teams put NBA numbers on us then Delta Airline numbers.......15th ranked? Ahh so were mediocre.....I come from the belief that sucks.....I'm not happy with 15th......That's for kool-aid drinkers trying to make themselves feel better.....15th ranked anything in the NFL still doesn't make the playoffs.

Suh has Fairley, and Ansah....Three DL players drafted in the top 10 and the DBs/CBs still gets lit up...

Suh would wreak havoc on Seattle because of their back 4.....He can't wreak havoc in Detroit because every dump pass goes for 7 or 8 yards because our corners play off the LOS by 10 yards.

Tough game plan for opposing Corridinators. Just dump it over the DL and watch them run up and down the field.

Don't get into that kool-aid yet gandy......I truly want to believe it too but havn't seen anything in 40 years that can change my mind....

The same ole, new coaching new guys, etc etc etc......They have all failed for atleast my 40+ years on this planet.

Sure I'll give the new crew a chance. I did with the rest of them.....I just stand on one side of the line that nothing has changed prove me wrong
