Have to see the contract before I could really comment a whole lot. Guy still maybe has a year or two of decent play left in him. Fit wise seems pretty good. Should teach Torrey Smith how to be a little more aggressive and gives that offense some attitude that they were lacking last year.

Not sure how he will hold up physically for the whole season but he can still play...interesting fit with BAL though...in his prime kind of a H. Ward type with a little more speed. Not a bad move by Ozzie.

Should be a good signing. Baltimore needs a solid 2nd or 3rd WR option and Smith should fill that role nicely. His skills have diminished in the last 2 or 3 years despite still being cast as the Panthers #1 option.

Seeing Smith in a jersey other than the Panthers will be real. Being a Falcons fan, I have always respected Steve Smith. One of my favorite WR's in the league, Think he will have a solid year in Baltimore.

At that price, absolutely yes. He's a huge upgrade opposite Torrey smith IMO.

I wasn't sold on him at first for obvious reasons but after thinking on it, I'm warming up to this signing.
With Torrey , Pitta and Smith running the slot, I think you'll see a Boldin with speed and separation and a lot more moving the chains this year.....Of course Kubes record of usually producing a top 5 offense won't hurt either......It's gonna be interesting with all the new signings in the AFCN and those 2 new CB's in NE would have been nice to go against but it will have to be the post season this yr......Stoked !!!!

Potentially, yes. It depends upon a few factors and the biggest there is Joe Flacco.

Not a slot in the traditional sense, more shifty than fast at this point, but a tough player if he can mentally handle not being the #1 option anymore, he should be a contributor...not real excited to see him in BAL actally...good pick up.
