when refs were viewing the illegal catch, why didn't they kick a field goal, instead of the pass interception ? thanks
Or against the Bengals. :The fake spike may have worked if more than one receiver ran a pass route.
Lack of preparation and communication.
Pittsburgh or many of the players and coaches weren't on the same page. They should've already known what the play was after the 2nd down play. You always call two plays in the huddle.
Because they knew going to OT was a guaranteed loss anyway, might as well at least try to win in regulation. Tomlin knows he isn't the chess player that Belichick is

I would've rather them gone for the tie. Go to OT and try and win it there. Ben wanted to do that, but listen to the sideline guys saying not to clock it. Then Ben makes a stupid fucking throw. It was a whole clusterfuck.
So with 14 secs left you would've clocked it on 3rd and kicked the FG?
