This is not great news obviously, but actually a little better than I anticipated. I was expecting 3-4 weeks.

I think they can win at MIA w/o him...hopefully they put up 30+ vs NE, but I would be okay with 5-2 and bring him back week 9...don't want to rush a hammy...those things can linger all season.

With his suspension ending last week, Williams was expected to work out for the Bills, the team that cut him over the summer, but Buffalo canceled the workout. Pittsburgh visited with Williams back in August after his release from the Bills. His brother, Vince, is also on the Steelers. On the practice squad, Williams will provide depth and maybe be brought along as Le'Veon Bell's eventual No. 2 possibly as soon as next season with DeAngelo Williams' contract running dry.

Saw they released David Cobb yesterday. Probably in preparation for this. Good upgrade from the looks of it. Time will tell if he can keep himself clean. They shouldn't let him hang out with Le'Veon Bell during the offseasons lol.

Don't know, but it would explain for ask the in injuries.
Be interesting to see how the coaches and higher ups feel about him speaking out.
Not that they would do anything to him, but how they react to what he said.

Ben has always been very protective of his O-line. Doubt he had anyone else in mind when saying these comments. Foster mentioned the same things once or twice before. Guarantee that it was nothing more than white noise until it was heard from Ben, the face of the franchise. Best believe it didn't fall on deaf ears this time.

Everyone knows when Ben is having a bad day or gets hurt, the rest of the team goes to shit....
(except maybe 2 guys)
And every year, we loose either Ben or Bell to one thing or another and straight down the shitter we go.

Hell years ago when Troy would get hurt the D was the same way....Now it seems like Shazeir goes out the pass rush sucks, and when Heyward goes down the run D goes to shit.

This fuckin team depends far to much on a couple of guys, and it sucks.
Teach fuckin Bell to throw the ball, if he can't find a hole let him chuck the damn thing down the field to AB, Eli, or Coates!!!!
