I was gonna ask, because some people are reporting it as a 6-yr deal, but the money is formatted to a 5-yr deal. So that makes sense. It includes '16 in the same number as his original contract.

Yep...the same 8mil on this option yr, + 5/50/16.

He's worth it, top 3 maybe at his position already, but they have been very fortunate to have great values at LT...I would imagine if AVill has a great season, they will go ahead and bump him with a longer term deal.

Just the fact that he feels the need to defends himself worries me... He should be worrying himself about what people think of him. He owes these people nothing. He needs to focus on himself and get clean. If he's focusing on getting clean for the approval of anyone outside of his teammates & coaches, then he's setting himself up for failure.

Also, two OLBs, Jarvis and Chick...Chick has a limp and wearly a compression brace, but not much said about either guy. Again, hope they are not serious....we'll find out something pretty soon, if we see Fenney called up.

Called it on D-Rich goin to the PS. With the uncertain future of Bell's contract they may opt to keep both D-Rich & Cobb on the PS. Fingers crossed neither get plucked before next offseason.

Gilbert's injury is worse than I thought. Looked bad on replay, but he looked ok on the sideline. If he can't go, then Hubbard gets the call to backup Harris.
