Yup, supposedly there were 4 teams in the hunt. Dallas, Detroit, San Jose, and Vancouver I believe.

just another on the list that thought he was bigger than the team that he hadn't even played for yet. I don't know why some players seem to think Grand Rapids is a death sentence, when there is a system in place that is tried and true.

Low-risk, high-reward signing. They're not giving up much of anything, not taking a very big cap hit, and they have a shot at having found a solid player. If he doesn't work out, oh well, no harm done. If he does, huge plus in value per dollar.
