Its probably because I'm a miserable f**king human being, but...
I love it when fans and a city and a team get all geeked up ready to celebrate as if its a foregone conclusion and then... Have to put it all on ice for another day. LOL!!!
Believe it or not, the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia is largely Pittsburgh country and I was semi-shocked at the number of fans that were having parties on a week night etc... in anticipation of the big victory celebration...
So yeah, I sat in my dank dark cavern laughing maniacally at the result of last night's game... muahahahahahahaaaaaaa..
(BTW, these feelings obviously don't apply when its MY team...
)

I understand marketing and the hype machine, but I get consistently annoyed when every single story and every single comment on a broadcast is focused on one thing as if it's a pre-determined outcome. They play the games for a reason.
I spent last night thinking of those poor saps who paid ten grand to watch that. Yes, I admit I giggled.
(note: my spell checker doesn't like "pre-determined" and when I checked the suggestions, one of them was "pee-determined". I almost made the change)
