are we all forgetting about Tyler Dellow

Colin Campbell should just hand in his resignation before the series starts and the issue should go away

How could we forget Tyler Dellow, he bitchslapped Damian Cox something fierce (lol).

And I am in total agrement that Colie needs to go...At the same time, I thought Gallagher went a little over the top on his piece and the NESN rebuttal was a good one.

The bottom line (in my opinion) is that one man should not be making these decisions. There should be a committee in place ideally consisting of former players, refs, and general managers (2 of each).

the reason theyre not playing friday isnt Bruno mars ... he could have been bumped ... NBC wants the Saturday to show hockey

they could have gone game 1 last night game 2 Wednesday game 3 in Boston Saturday

I,m shocked NBC would want the Saturday game.Did they run out of Minute to win it re-runs.

your totally right Dash (well except the boston cheering) it should be a committee. and Collie should NOT be in that position.

the perception of bias is there and thats enough to make people wonder ... and thats unacceptable

why dont they just make Ryan Keslers dad Mike the NHL Director of Hockey Operations for this series

Yeah, if only Colie had the smarts of Ken Read (who resigned his position with Alpine Canada when his son made the Canadian ski team).

/Why didn't Tony write this piece when Colie's son was toiling for the Panthers? Timing is everything.

did the Panthers ever make the playoffs during Campbells time there? its relevant now because Colie is choosing officials to work series that his son is involved in

I dont understand why everyone is just accepting this

Tyler Dellow pieced together emails that show Colie contacted officials that made supposed bad calls in games involving his son ... and this only came to light because of the court case with Dean Warren

has he sent other emails to other officials?

Colie seriously needs to go

I was aware of the emails. I remember his response and Bettmans. They disregarded anything wrong in that case.

I agree 1000% that he should be gone. but that taint happening any time soon.

According to scouting reports, if you hit these Boston players hard enough, a tasty custard filling bursts out.

NBA is going tuesday/thursday/sunday for its first 3 ... at least the NHL knows not to go head to head and schedule games on the same night

could it be that the NHL waited until the NBA's schedule was out so it could work around it?
(and as a corollary, were afraid to pick their dates first incase the NBA stepped on one or two?)

I guess because prior history has shown that nothing is going to change with the way the NHL conducts its business (at least under the current commissioner). I don't like the obvious conflict of interest and perceived bias, but Colie isn't going to resign and Gary refuses to do anything about it.

unless AV is pulling a fast one*, sounds like no Manny for game 1.
4th line looks like Tamby - Bolduc - Oreskovich

* wouldn't put it past him.
Manny missed practice today for a doctor's appointment .... final approval?
He had been practicing on 5th line, but taking 1st line PK duty with Lapierre.

Just checked out StubHub. These are the cheapest seats available by game...

Game 1 (VAN): $561
Game 2 (VAN): $699
Game 3 (BOS): $500
Game 4 (BOS): $567
Game 5 (VAN): $1,094
Game 6 (BOS): $625
Game 7 (VAN): $1,450

Canucks fans can see game 6 in Boston for cheaper ($625 + $775 flight = $1,400) than they can see game 7 ($1,450) just down the street. Insanity.
