Who was that guy here all playoffs who was saying Hank is overrated and Talbot should start? I looked back through the last few days and he hasn't been around for some reason.

I know Talbot is hurt. I should have included this smiley:

No caffeine and no caffeine make 43 something something.

I do think the Rangers deserve credit for stretching the series to at least four games.

If they haven't used it already, now would be a good time to pull out the "Win in the Bank"...

HNIC got on Nash saying he stopped skating and if he just moved his legs he would have scored there ... but thats a VERY strong hook by doughboy there ... I think that might be an all timer as far as penalties goes lol

Doughty absolutely needed to commit the penalty, but Nash just stopped skating and seems to me his feet came out a tad easy.

Although when I saw this gif, I thought the hook looked rougher at game speed.

to me at slow speed it just shows how strong doughboy actually is ... Nash is about to take that next step with his skate and the coach potato just leans into/onto him with his stick ... strong hands!

Can LA use their Recent Cup Champions WITB to override or nullify or NY's?

That's going to be a very anti-climactic SC presentation on Wednesday.

I think Doughty, Justin Williams, and Jeffy Carter are your three front-runners (although Kopitar has played well this entire post-season).

I dont think Ive seen it where so many were in the running, I want to give the Kings all the credit and respect in the world of hockey but Sutter and the Kings twitter make me want to have them go away forever.

they are so god damn dominant. wonder how long they will be like this its impressive

As I said before, I think Darryl Sutter will punch his ticket into the Hockey Hall of Fame with this Cup win. Four times to the Stanley Cup finals as a coach (1 as an assistant, 3 as a head coach) and two Stanley Cup championships as a head coach (once the Kings win one more game). That's a pretty strong resume right there.

Amazing that a guy with 13 goals in the playoffs (most tying or winning goals) isn't really being talked about for Conn Smythe. Shows how deep the team is.

Doughty, Williams, Gaborik for me. In that order.

"Well since the Kings are so deep and there are so many people to choose from they should give it to Lundqvist since he played so well up until the finals" said the guy who is still not over 2003.

yeah Ive no doubt, I wish he would be a little nicer to the media I know they deserve it sometimes but asking unique questions are hard and they are trying to get the fans answers and he gives them the time he does, some are funny some are really annoying and belittling.

I'd be fine with Doughty, Williams, Carter, Kopitar or Gaborik winning the Conn Smythe. Damn, this team is deep.

Again, it just drives home the fact though that you need that elite puck moving defenseman back there to control the game. Wings had it with Lidstrom, Hawks have it with Keith, Bruins have/had it with Chara, and the Kings have it with Doughty.

At this point, I'd say Williams should get the Conn Smythe. "Clutch" factor I suppose. He and Carter are tied in points, Carter with a few more goals.
