Go Ranger go! The last thing I want is to have to hear about the Kings coming back from a 3-0 deficit against the Sharks before winning the cup for an entire offseason.

I think the biggest storyline is going to be the goal tending match up. Two elite goal tenders having solid postseasons will make for some great drama.

I initially wanted to say Rangers in 7 because Lundqvist has been elite while Quick has NOT this postseason (.903 sv% I think?), and if that continues, I see the Rangers pulling it out. However, if it gets to 7, LA is winning.

They also have Kopitar and Brown. They have weapons. I think offensively they're superior, defense is slightly better, and goaltending is worse.

Gaborik, Carter and Kopitar for starters.

Nash has 3 goals in the playoffs.

In fact, no less than 11 Kings have more goals in the playoffs this year than Nash.

St. Lousi has certainly picked it up but he hasn't been any more effective than Carter, Kopitar, Williams or Gaborik.

quick has been far from solid. he's had his moments but he's been mediocre for the most part imo

sv% of .906 and gaa of 2.86. way off from his career norms

it actually makes this kings run even more impressive. a much better overall team than the one that won in 2012
