Zunino is the least of our concerns on this team... He's going to be an all star soon enough... Great leader, defensive catcher and has potential to be a .260 avg / 30 HR type of a player or better as he progresses... That's good enough to get an all star bid... This is only his 2nd season... LOL...

Good thing we didn't give up on Bruce Irvin after his rookie season...

Fun game in the sun today.

1- Alex Jackson...stud. First MLB homer and he is like 19? He made the final out with the go ahead run on base in the 9th but it was a ripped shot to 3B on a 94 MPH fastball by a MLB pitcher.

2- Zunino hits two out. All or nothing Z, but if he can do that 30+ times...lol.

3- Furbush struggles again.

4- Elias can't make it through 5.

5- Did I mention Alex Jackson is a stud?

ST is really fun!!! I watched the Mariners play in surprise against the Rangers on Friday. NWAZ was spot on with analysis. Alex Jackson is a big solid looking guy. Nice to see him hit one out of the ballpark. He also made a decent catch in LF where he had to dive.

unfortunately that was the only Mariners game I made it too, I also watched a Padre game in Peoria and a Dodger/Rockies game at Talking Stick. I had to go with friends to other games since everyone had different allegiances.

It is a really fun trip and I recommend it to anyone. I am definitely planning on going down there next year and spending a little more time down there.

Yeah it is really cool to check out the different ball parks definitely part of the fun. I am sure our paths crossed at some point. I had on Mariner gear LOL couldn't of missed me.. I was actually surprised how many Mariner fans were at that game, it seemed the Mariners had just as many fans if not more. I almost wore my Mariner beard hat that I got at a game in Seattle last season just cause I thought people would get a kick out of it but I didn't want a beard tan line.
