Is there a way to watch Ms spting training outside of root?

since nobody responded i'll respond to myself lol

I think the way to go for me will be re-upping my mlb.tv subscription.

For those who had mlbtv for the previous season, be aware that feb 28 is the last day before it will auto renew unless you've turned that off. I'm thinking I'll watch a few games between now and the 28th and decide for sure.

Are they on mlbtv? I haven’t seen it, just heard people talking about how Mickey Mouse it is for Root not to show all of the spring games

I know people said it all the time, but this is the most crucial season in Mariners history that they get off to a good start. Ownership needs to know by June whether they are going to extend Jerry and Justin. If they aren’t sure by then, then how could they possibly allow Jerry to navigate the trade deadline.

Bad start and staying sluggish, they cut Scotty loose before the deadline and possibly fire sale some of the pitching and position players for more prospects. A good start and being competitive, I don't see FO allowing Jerry to buy large bringing on a big player or 2 with a couple of years left on the contract to help propel the team. Owners told us they want to go cheap, but I've been wrong from time to time.

Realistically IMO there are only 5 to watch. Cole Young, Ryan Bliss, Blake Hunt, Harry Ford and Tyler Locklear. Ford is probably auditioning for other teams. Hunt is a big one because Zavala should have a short leash if he is a defense only catcher. Young, Bliss and Locklear are basically playing for if Urias/Rojas/France are available at the deadline.
