He should be called up to Tacoma .
But I can't say he will.be..

Both are old..for AA..

But they both hit for better ave last year.
Meaning they are ready for Tacoma..

Only 2 problems..no one to push.them up....and take there spot..from below.

And trammel is still.in the way..
But they need to give him.one last chance..

If he can't do.it. it.wont take.long for .outfielders.

If around .500 they'll allow Jerry to make low level trades to keep themselves barely in the WC race and keeping the fans interested in hoping for a big second half surge. Bad start and staying sluggish, they cut Scotty loose before the deadline and possibly fire sale some of the pitching and position players for more prospects. A good start and being competitive, I don't see FO allowing Jerry to buy large bringing on a big player or 2 with a couple of years left on the contract to help propel the team. Owners told us they want to go cheap, but I've been wrong from time to time.

Maybe it is because I’m not the owner, but it seems like if they aren’t sure they wouldn’t allow Jerry to make a single deal to go through. But also to be fair to Jerry, I don’t think he is the type of guy to make a stupid trade to save his job like Woody Woodward was forced to. It just is so Mariners that they are a playoff contender and the baseball people don’t know their future of the team.

IMO this is the last year of Jerry and Scott. If they make the playoffs I see Scott going somewhere else. If they don’t obviously both are gone.

Not sure or high priced contract they won't make that move. Our hope and it's a massive long shot is that half of the roster that consistently finds themselves on the IL, over preforms and stays mostly healthy for any shot at a WC. Anything short of that, I agree both will be gone and ownership will find another yes man for manager/GM.
