I find spring training invites interesting because teams often bring up another 20 to 30 minor leaguers to play in big league spring games during the course of spring training. I guess the difference between the two is that these guys get to practice with the big league club and have access to their facilities until they get reassigned.

[Pavlovic] The Giants are no longer going with the two-way path for Reggie Crawford. He’s in camp as a pitcher and that’ll be the focus going forward. Giants are hopeful he can move quickly.

Now I can potentially be excited by him. The whole 2-way thing is way too gimmicky.

Apparently, Panda really wants to play. He is not Romo’ing this.

No chance he makes the team, though.

I'd like to know why a 37 year old, out of shape player, who hasn't even played a professional game in over a year is getting a spring training invite . . . hey, wait a second. cal, is your first name Pablo?

Apparently, Panda played last summer in Abu Dhabi, in a new league called Baseball United. He played with forever Giant Alejandro de Aza and managed by forever Giant Dennis Cook.

Dennis Cook…

LOL

When I was in HS (Jr high??) I bought a shit ton of his rookie card because I was convinced he was going to be a star.

See? I was demonstrating my genius baseball takes even way back then.

Nope. The interesting thing will be: will he take a minor league assignment to continue? Will he be offered one?

I just phuking love that guy. Hope he defies all predictions and RAKES.

Apparently, he's lost a bunch of weight and is looking pretty good. That said, I still think its Cal.
