Is this considered a prank or abstract art in SoCal?
My honest opinion is if it happened in the week before the SC / UCLA game it was awesome. If it happened any other time it was a total shit move.

And then what...you got butthurt because people actually voted for a team that won 5 national championships between your last two, while you guys were busy enhancing the reputation of the SEC.
Someone's having a bad widdle day.

I am thinking about changing my vote, but I still haven't seen enough of a reason.

Don't just throw stats at me. If I opened a history book on Alabama football and a history book on USC football, why would Alabama's history book be more exciting to read?

It's written in crayon? :noidea:

Oh, it's a coloring book?
It would still be more exciting than Iowa's history book. :ranger:

Who am I kidding, coloring books are just plain awesome in general.

Can we just skip to OU, Alabama, USC, and Notre Dame? Playoff style.

That's pretty much how I figured some of these votes would go anyway, some aren't gonna get past their bias for or against certain teams and/or posters to get a true vote. I'm claiming it either way so fuck y'all.

Fuck USC right in the pussy!

Vote Bama! :peace:

Yeah, it's a given that some people are just going to vote for the teams they like most.

Just have fun with it, at the end of the day it's just a forum thing. I've been looking forward to the thread just so I could post the history.

Me too. Just trying to have a little fun. I mean why not give some real stories about the teams? Is that the point of the thread?

Also, a story I've heard from another forum, Bear Bryant used to have a drill for his players where he'd place 3 balls on one side of the end zone, and line his players up 53 yards away on the other side of the end zone, and tell his players to fight for the balls and bring one back. According to legend, Lee Roy Jordan brought back TWO footballs to the Bear. If that really happened, Lee Roy Jordan is the baddest motherfucker to ever play the game.

I have a DVD that has some of Alabama's greatest legends sitting at a roundtable telling story after story about their careers and happenings during college. Gotta find it and watch it again.

Well when you're done reading those books you'll ask yourself, self, "WHY DIDNT USC DO MORE WITH WHAT THEY HAD"??? They were in a ONE TEAM CONFERENCE.

Because USC was playing top 5 conference opponents as we know them today, while other top programs were playing sunbelt type opponents through the years in OOC

USC was so ahead of the curve with scheduling, they were scheduling good teams before they were good!
