See, here's the beautiful thing: I don't have to. The NCAA acknowledges them. Ohio State has 8 championships acknowledged from the NCAA and Oklahoma has 7. The fact that you're sitting here pissing and moaning about titles from 45-50 years ago on behalf of your sworn enemy is what is, in reality, truly sad.

To be honest, in this thread I defended OU and I defended OSU's claims (when someone claimed your 57 or 58 title was nonsense). It seems I am merely trying to be an unbiased voice. Can you say the same?

check pot 104.. where I used except instead of accept.

In this thread, I initially came in and said OU wasn't a guaranteed win. I made a statement about OSU being more storied than Nebraska (this is literally the only place I can find on the internet that has them beating out OSU), and then about them being more storied than Oklahoma, and backed them up with facts. Not opinions, facts. You can try and twist them around all you want, but they are facts nonetheless.

Never once did I say everyone was wrong for voting for Nebraska over OSU (it's an internet message board, who cares?), I merely made a statement and backed it up with facts. That's when the jimmies reached maximum rustling and everyone jumped on my shit. Oh well, what can ya do?

Not talking about non-thread related shit would be a great start.

It certainly created some interesting banter, though.
No, it didn't.

Self-serving aggrandizing bullshit designed to stroke your ego as you vicariously live through young men playing a sport doesn't really capture the attention of most folks, unless they're somewhat similar to you.

Just sayin'.

That a-hole wasn't a fan; he was an aberration. And Bo Pelini was only slightly better. The Nebraska fans are going to enjoy Mike Riley's coaching, his demeanor, the kind of players he will have and his classy way of treating everyone.....even Nebraska's opponents. Riley is a good fit for the Huskers.

no he wasn't a fan, and never said he was, but there sure were a lot of Nebbish fans who took on his demeanor for awhile...

I love how cut off dates just keep getting made.

Well since WW2...

Well since 1950...

Since 1990...

Motherfuckers can't grasp the concept of storied :dhd:
I've been preaching it too. Good luck.

:spit:
It's actually because facts say so.

I guess if you go back through this thread, I certainly have been the "Authority" on dispensing facts, as nobody else seems to like to.

Maybe because the thread's not about Ohio St?

I would certainly take the time to put facts in an Ohio St thread.
