In doing so let me point out. Florida State has not played anyone to be ranked top 10.

So you rank them 23rd? We atleast out right won our games. Unlike some of the teams you have ahead of us. I'm not saying we should be top 10 (you can look at my rankings, but 23rd is a little harsh in my opinion. If that's what you truely feel though, then it's how you feel.

ok here we go for this week


1. Oklahoma- they had a bye week, so we don't know anything new on them.

2. Stanford, struggled early, as it turned out a fluke pick 6 that should have given Duke momemtum got Stanford fired up and they got going.

3. Boise State- Bye week but Georgia made them look pretty good, also the Toledo games means more now.

4. LSU- played Northwestern State that's just like a bye week.

5. Alabama- Beat Penn State, good win feels kind of meh though.

6. Wisconsin- took care of business against Oregon State

7. Oklahoma State- Dominated Arizona.

8. Texas A&M- another bye week team

9. South Carolina- they had a defensive lineman that got two touchdowns, that's just crazy good.

10. Oregon- Demolished Nevada.

11. Arkansas- looked good so far, especially on special teams, we'll see how they are when they play someone good though.

12. Florida State- They played Charleston Southern, what's with Florida teams and their obsessions with playing Charleston Southern????? We will actually see what this team is made of this week.

13. Baylor- after seeing how TCU did this week it appears that it was all Robert Griffin last week, Baylor is real good.

14. Nebraska- struggled pretty badly with a Fresno State team that lost to Cal, did a good job pulling it out at the end though.

15. Virginia Tech- struggled with ECU, was it their best chance to lose??

16. TCU- they looked right back on target with a great game this week, they were just a victim of Robert Griffin.

17. Auburn- what to do with this team?? They literally always play at the level of their opponent and pull out the win somehow. I probably shouldn't even rank them because they play Clemson and FAU the next two weeks, which probably means they will suck the next two weeks before playing amazing the following 3.

18. San Diego State- Got their test out of the way, struggled against Army should play better from here on.

19. Air Force- Woke up what was the sleeping monster that is the TCU defense, Tim Jefferson is good but he's no Robert Griffin, him trying to be Robert Griffin costed them the game.

20. Northwestern- played Eastern Illinois, Boston College win lost tons of luster.

21. Mississippi State- played good??? bad???? still no idea about what Auburn is, thus we don't know how good Mississippi State is.

22. Terps- bye week

23. Texas- they looked much better without Gilbert.

24. Georgia- 0-2 start is tough but they also played two great teams.25. USC- they look like a team that wins


Next in line(in no particular order): Arizona State, Ohio State, Florida, BYU, Cal, USF, Illinois, Utah, Tennessee, Houston, Navy, Michigan State, Utah State, Iowa State, Kansas, Toledo, New Mexico State, Rice.

Im just wondering how a team that was 6-7 last year and 0-2 this year even breaks into your Top 25.

There is not logical reason for Georgia to still be ranked after two losses....

I just think way too many people are getting pissy about a week 2 poll. The sample size is just too small to make any real judgements yet. Hell, I have GT in the low teens, they've absolutely destroyed the two shitty schools they've played, if when they play a team with a pulse and shit all over themselves, I'll knock them out.

Honestly about 15 and below is really a toss up but above you;

Penn State played Alabama, even in a loss they showed more of what they have then FSU has.
Tenn has a win over Cinncinatti
UCF shutout Charleston Southern while Charleston scored 10 points on you. Also beat BC which I would rank ahead of ULM

I could go on but I hope this is enough to let you know I didn't just drop you there for the hell of it. You have played a middle of the pack sunbelt team and a horrible FCS school. This week will show something to rank you on.

I think possibly you assume because the polls have you up there I should of adjusted from where they had you. I did not consider the polls. I went by what I had in front of me.

I ranked Penn State ahead of you because I had something to measure against Alabama. This week even with a loss I will have something to measure against. This is why polls don't mean shit in the first 5 or 6 weeks.

how do you rank a Georgia Tech team 13th when they lost to a team that was 6-7 last year and started 0-2 this year?? also how did you rank them ahead of Air Force who is the last team that beat Georgia Tech and returned more starters???

Which goes right back to my original argument. These polls don't mean shit this early in the season because there is not enough data to measure accurately.

You say you cna't measure them against an FCS school? So you throw out the Charleston Southern and rank them by their win over Louisiana Monroe?

My argument to him was exactly your argument to me. There is not enough data to measure therefore I could not rank them. When they go play Oklahoma we will have something (even though okie has only played Tulsa). Still little but there will be data. But not now.

because after watching them play against a good 2-0 team they looked great in it, plus I hate the idea of punishing someone for actually playing good teams.
