I will vote after week three/four when the majority of BCS teams have played either their first conference game or another BCS opponent. Paper tigers don't do much for me, and IMO teams (especially my alma mater) has to continue to prove they're more than preseason hype.

Just realized I forgot Notre Dame in my ranks. I would have put them in around 15.

Guess that might be a good luck sign for them.

God love ya man! But even my homer ass doesn't see BSU even sniffing single digit rankings this year.

I think they go undefeated this year, if they do, I think they finish around where I have them.

First thoughts from initial glance, Ohio State is over ranked. Top 10 sure, but not #2. And Michigan at 17 is about right, probably could be a little higher, but not by much.

What are you talking about?

9 put them in the top 10
8 put them from 11-15
1 has them from 16-20
and 5 has them unranked

20 out of 25 have them ranked.

Why would they? It's as good a pick as there is.

ya, i agree

I am glad to see the opening game where Clemson and Georgia will be tested right from the start. Both teams I have in my top 5.

I'm hoping Clemson runs the scoreboard up on 'em. UGA lost most of their defense, you know.

But the five that don't have insane teams in their top 25, like Utah st or Fresno st. They must be forgetting ND, not intentionally leaving them out...

I do too LOL

the only way Georgia will beat Clemson is to outscore them, because not much defense will be played

it has the feeling of a 55-48 game

I forgot because my website has them #1, so I kinda went by that and then moved around things based on my agreements/disagreements. I never went back up and added them.

If someone wants to edit my post and put Notre Dame @ #15 and move the rest down, that would be fine by me.

For Georgia to lose most of its defense is probably a good thing for them.

How on earth are Clemson and UGA ranked above USC in these ballots? We've dominated both for 3-4 years and our talent loss is not as substantial as UGA's (who we beat by 4 TDs last year). Do you really think UGA is going to turn that far around relative to the Gamecocks? Makes no sense whatsoever.
As for Clemson, like UGA they're obviously living off the tradition of pre-season overrating. Gamecocks will beat both of them AGAIN this year.

This poster, besides being extremely handsome, is incredibly intelligent and insightful.

I find no material flaws in his arguments.
