Question...Are we drafting based on statistical value, like a fantasy team, or will chemistry and how they mesh be a factor?

Mixture of both but with a little more of an emphasis on chemistry and meshability (yes I just made a word up)

If we had 30 teams I could enter the results in on my PS4 for 2K16 and simulate a season. It would take a long time, and we'd have to agree to league settings (injuries or no injuries, chemistry factor, etc)

But right now it looks like we'll fall short of 30 unless 4 people randomly jump in.

Still would be an awesome option to run the simulation if you had the time. You could just simply fill 4 teams with whoever else was not drafted.

True, problem with that is the draft would have to be a certain order so filling in those last four teams would require a lot of work each round scrolling down to the bottom of the list looking for players that haven't been taken already.

Yeah, it sounds like a ton of work and I applaud you for even entertaining the idea of doing this. Totally up to you, but I think a vote on here would be best.

If we can finish this thing in 3 weeks I will try to get it done. If it extends beyond that, my work starts to get hectic again in approx 4 weeks w/ me working 10-12 hour days so once that kicks in again there's no way I'd have the time.

Yeah, that might be tough. I think the draft is gonna take at least a month or so.

It's going to be present day. I believe the voting will be based on immediate playoffs and also maybe a voting based on potential.

Ignore recent injuries -- right ? i.e., Marc Gasol healthy or hurt ?

Ignore injuries basically, unless it's someone like Joel Embiid.

Draft as if every player is healthy.
