I don't think it will take a swap of 1st to get Foles. He is coming off injury and is now the back up. Most Philly talk radio is talking about a 3rd but hoping for a 2nd.

If I'm the Rams I think I'd rather swap first rds picks vs giving up a 3rd rd pick. You still should get a quality starter at 20 in this draft. Vs not picking in the 3rd & 4th rds. No way I give up a second for Foles.

Rams could trade down less than moving to #20 and pick up 2nd, 3rd, 4th round picks (exact compensation would depend on competition for the pick and how far they trade down). I would easily do a 3rd rounder, seems fair given he's only under contract for this season.

As far as a 2nd rounder goes, trading down from #10 to #20 is 450 pts on the chart (however valuable that is any more), which is the value of the #45 pick (13th pick of the 2nd). Essentially by swapping 1sts, you are trading the 2nd rounder (and a 4th) that you would potentially get by trading down to that pick.

I am not sure Foles is worth all the first round swapping. If we can get those picks you've outlined Shopson, it might be a decent trade.

Yeah but think about it. Would you rather pick 20 and still have the 9th pick in the 2nd. Or 10th and no 2nd?? I take the first option hands down. Your losing a 2nd rd pick with the second option and a possible starter.

The point is, if the team wants to replace that 2nd rounder, they can most likely do so without having to trade all the way down to #20.

Pretty sure this move isn't being a spectator, now there's a lot of cap space to play with.
