A month for saying bum in a joking manner yikes. Ok I got it. I gave you some love hope you feel better. :D

Yes. After I explained the rules probably five times to everyone, you pull that stunt. After doing a lot of talking, I warned everyone that I wasn't going to putz around. Right now you are on probation for a week. Do it again and you'll take a month long vacation.

Please be assured that the Rams will make a play for Iupati (probably wont get him), Wisnewski (almost a LOCK to sign with us), Rodney Hudson and Orlando Franklin. They will probably resign Britt and let Kendricks and Barksdale walk. Maybe go after a veteran OLB as well... that is all. Most of what we will do has to do with restructuiring Bradford and Jake Long.

KSU how do you know Winewski is a lock? This would be good news for our O-line.

Marshall does have Borderline Personality Disorder which is a legitimately difficult condition to deal with in a locker room.

And Britt doesn't? I don't want Marshall either. But I know Britt had issues, hell every WR has issues it seems.

Besides Alshon Jeffrey

You can have Marshall. Britt is the guy that needs to be re-signed and the Rams are working on that as well.

That would be a good start, but we REALLY need a true #1 receiver. I believe that we haven't had a 1000 yard receiver since 2007(Torry Holt), isn't that right?

Yep. I believe it was the 2007-2008 season with Holt. So we shall see if Quick materializes. Reports indicate Quick, Sammie, and Robinson have been regulars at Rams Park all off-season doing rehab. Perhaps Quick has got the message.

Talks that the Rams are serious about Foles and are talking to the Eagles are surfacing again. This would indicate the Eagles could go all in to move up for MM. I just hope we don't give them our 2nd I could live with a 3rd. Would rather just swap 1st rd picks though.

I would think the Rams should get a 4th-6th pick also for the swapping of first rd pick deal.

Foles is under contract for $1.5M this year and a free agent next season. That would give the Rams zero QBs under contract next year and at risk of losing both. The Eagles better ante up more than just swapping 1sts and Foles.

Agreed, I don't want to drop 10 spots just for what could be a one year rental of Foles. Not enough compensation in return.

I see your point. It's a tough spot. A solid back up though... even push sam for 1.5m is a cheap option though. I would think who ever comes out on top you would just have to open up the bank next year and pay up. We would have to do that with sam anyway if he stays healthy and has a decent season.

What if they traded for Foles and cut Sam and his Cap hit??

That might be what they're planning, you never know, especially with Bradford's refusal to renegotiate. After seeing how much the FA's are getting, maybe Fisher and Co. are panicking and looking for the best way to open cap room fast.

Who would they chase with that much cap room, considering who's already off the market? I don't see Bradford getting cut.

Most likely not, but it does seem strange we're the front runner for Foles. What if Foles beats out Bradford in Training camp/preseason? Do you really bench a guy making 16 mil? If so, that's a hell of a lot of dead cap money you could have spent elsewhere.

That's the problem though; spent on whom? If you spend just to spend, we'll be cutting guys all over again next year, leaving dead money behind.

The Foles rumors are likely just that. There was also a rumor that the Eagles have a deal in place to trade with the Jets should Mariota fall to #6.

I haven't seen the list of FA's yet, so I'm not sure who to go after. But we definitely need help at o-line, WR and LB, to name a few. Not saying go on a crazy spending spree, but a strategic two or three signings could make a huge difference with our team.

Edit: yeah here in NY there's been a lot of talk about a trade like that with the Jets and Eagles

I think they are going to go after one guy-Wisnewski and save the rest of their cap space money for later. Wells, Long, and Barksdale will not be back. I'd be surprised if any of those return. I think they are all at back-up status except Barksdale and he is close.

Long has stated that he doesn't know if he wants to play anymore and Wells is at the end of his career. I suspect Carolina will sign Barksdale. We will draft many O-lineman this draft to fill our remaining needs. I expect the Rams will go after Scherff, Peat, Collins, and Grassu.

True, but he didn't have any issues this season in the locker room other than voicing the fact that the team needs to do better. Either way if i was the GM I'd take a gamble on him; he still has amazing hands and route running ability.

I don't think it will take a swap of 1st to get Foles. He is coming off injury and is now the back up. Most Philly talk radio is talking about a 3rd but hoping for a 2nd.

That would be better. We get our O-lineman in the first two rounds, pick-up a back-up in Foles because Hill is headed to either Minnesota or the Raiders, and come out of this draft and FA period with a new and improved O-line and possibly a better offense.
