There's no quit in this team, they are relentless. In previous seasons getting behind 4-0 against a winning team early on would almost always spell doom for the Sox. Not this bunch. These guys bring it.

I spent the first 8+ innings thinking we weren't going to pull it out. Impressive. Robert just continues to get better and that's a scary thought.

Taking the first one was huge with us having the advantage with Kuechel vs Pineada tomorrow. Especially seeing as Lopez will go on Wednesday and you can't feel good about that.

Could you imagine putting 4.5 games worth of distance between us and Minny? I don't feel like we do better than 2 of 3 here. But... a helluva thought.

Same with Jimenez - both are in mini funks. But that's the beauty of this club. A couple guys fall back, others step in and help fill the void. I really admire the makeup of this roster.

I spent the first 8+ innings thinking we weren't going to pull it out. Impressive. Robert just continues to get better and that's a scary thought.

Yeah, if we can snatch another one tomorrow, then game three would either be icing on the cake or at worst we leave town on the plus side in this series. Hope Keuchel is on. So far he's been without question our most consistent starter to date. I'd like to see that consistency continue.

Yeah, and it's almost a bit scary tomorrow. It's sort of like the Twins are due for a big game and Kuechel is "due" for a letdown performance. Mostly, I think "due" is a fallacy... but sometimes I can get hung up on it, regardless.

Twins also have a few scary right handed power bats. But... I mean, it didn't stop Kuechel from pitching a great game vs them the first time around.

We should be able to get to Pineada in his first start of the season.

I would never with baseball...because other teams are going to power through it with cold hard cash and sign power players to one up us *cough Yankess cough*. But we have a shot because the young guys aren't sh*tty, quite the contrary...so that's good.
