butters' tap dancing episode was great too....so many hilarious ones
They gave him hell in the next episode after he quit. LOL.
Eric Cartman and Randy Marsh are legendary.
I have never seen an episode of this show and likely never will, just looks juvenille and stupid to me.
Doesn't say much for today's TV if South Park is the best that they can come up with.
Watch 5-10 episodes and then come back with your opinion. Until you know something about it, your blanket statement speaks more about you than it does about the show.
It is actually one of the smarter shows on TV.
1. Stan and/or Kyle do something that is normal and childlike.Formulaic? I guess but they really do say shit with their show. The style is often similar and they have had a few misses every season, but the ones on topics worth doing are worth a watch.
Yes, seriously. I could put at least 50 episodes that Ive seen into that template.Seriously? That's just not close.

The main takeaway from South Park is that everyone is stupid in their own way
Love My South ParkThe show and its creators are brilliant.
I'm sure that those who say otherwise, are well respected professionals in the field, who offer up brilliance of their own on a weekly basis to millions of viewers, so their criticism, is probably warranted.

Love My South Park
When you call something the best on TV, you're comparing to the things that are on TV and not to the things you have done.
I like South Park. I just haven't watched it in about 4 years (what was the season they made fun of High School Musical?) Its somewhat high brow because it has social allegories but its intentionally made to be accessible. I'm sure the average person who reads a newspaper should get most of the jokes.
