That pass had some serious mustard on it. It was by no means an easy catch. A catch that could've been made, sure. Had Brady thorwn a typical Brady pass though. That ball hits Welker in stride and it would've gotten very interesting after tha.

People forget Tom was hurt at the time of the throw, and likely had part to do with it sailing. People seem to forget a great shot he took just a bit earlier by the Giants, forget who it was though.

Right up there with if the Pats would have faced Carolina again last SB.

The Pats Giants games are to far back to have any real meaning, very little left from either team.

All valid points, but the play that will always stick out to me far as that game goes. Is that monster bomb Brady launched to Moss. Which I guess can be looked at one of two ways. Had Brady been able to get it off a split second sooner. Or if Moss takes a pity-pat step, maybe two. Either scenario happens and best case for the Pats is Moss takes it in for the game winner. Or Moss gets PIed by, damn forgot dude's name, the Giant DB and the Pats are 1st and 10 at the Giants 20 or so yard line.

I didn't know Brady had that kinda arm, but he chucked that mothafucker for real.

He does have a strong arm and I believe either 1# or #2 this year with passes over 20 yards but when you have short slot receivers most of the time, tough to throw deep and not have a taller back pick it off or tip it. Now with Hogan and Floyd they have some deeper threats

You don't actually watch football do you?
Not sure how many times people need to be reminded about this call.
Sherman was successful only 20% of the time during the season from the the 2.
Since that SB the Seahawks have had 16 more opportunities. They chose to run 12 times and throw 4. They were succesful only 50% of the time on each.
So calling a pass play wasn't dumb. The play that was called was dumb for that QB.

Do wide open WR's typically have to lay out for catches?

Just asking

I think like Rex said it was 50/50 on Brady and Welker pass was off a little but catchable

Everyone in America that doesnt live in the greater Boston area, has called the play call the worst in the history of big game American Sports
Ease up on the hyperbole just a tad. I'd say a certain HC and OC that don't live in the Greater Boston area disagree.

And Sonny jumping off the GW bridge. Of course I might not be alone and have someone test the water's temp first, I'm sure a Giants fan would volunteer

I'm OK with that. It could've been caught no doubt. It also could've been thrown better. That it wasn't is what surprised more than Welker not catching it.

He doesnt get to the playoffs all that much but when he does, he makes it count 8-3 is pretty solid with 2 SB's. His brother finally cracked over .500 last year
He was talking record. Ok got it now. I thought he was talking TDs/INTs. He's still only 17 games over .500 for his career. Not sure those are HOF #s?
