This picture is the main reason I would have never paid Dak $60M. It is nothing personal. I just figure how can you play the first part of your career with three prime aged, HOF caliber O Linemen, the best RB in football and a legit #1 WR and now going into yesr 10, have 2 career playoff wins? Rookie Jayden Daniels won two playoff games this year and took a crappy team to the NFCCG. If Dak were that dude, he would have already done. We will not have anything like that the next 5 years

Compare Dak's overall offensive and defensive talent each year vs the 4-13 shitshow Daniels inherited. They were starting guys we didn't want in Biadasz and Armstrong. Give me a break. How many Pro Bowlers and All Pro's did we have last year when the Packers clobbered us. Again, nothing personal against the guy but facts are facts.
Washington had a last place schedule. We will see how they do with a better one. We could have won in Dak's early years, but the defense sucked. Later years, it was Dak not playing great and a poor defense again. To me if we had a defense that could half way stopped the run, we would have done a hell of a lot better.
You're making my point fella...if we need an incredible defense AND a great offense, it's still not worth $60M. And when in the next 5 years are Jerry and Stephen going to INCREASE our talent level past Dak's early years? Brother, we are in reverse right now on talent acquisition.
We could though. Daks hamstring could snap during training camp. They could finish badly enough to get a top five pick in 2026. Dak has gotten injury prone over the past five years. They may be "forced" to draft his replacement. Seems like Dak is following in Romos footsteps. Always injured
I think if we are healthy and Jerry spent some money in FA, this team could easily make the playoffs. What he can't do is let 10-12 guys who were on the 53 walk away and then skip FA. If he does that again, it won't matter how well we draft or how well we play early because everytime someone does get injured our subs will be guys that really belong on the practice squad. I don't think coaching will be a problem at all, but he can only coach the players management gives him
What? did your point change?? You said Dak was the reason. No one said incredible defense. We had horrible defenses. We needed adequate run stopping defenses. The home Green bay playoff game for example. Letting AR get in field goal position with only a few seconds left. Awful.
You needed that and the offense we had which had what, 5 all pros? My point is, now that we are paying him and stripping the team down, he will never have the supporting cast again that he used to. Ever.
