I was thinking about the addition of Riley. I think the guy who might get a real shot to be legit #2 RB is Deuce. He was great at KState working with Riley, obviously his run blocking scheme fits Deuce well

they lose Turpin, then Deuce gets return opportunities too.Agree
Deuce most likely gets more opportunities than the previous 2 seasons
We lose Turpin and I predict he goes somewhere and becomes a star. If I'm him I see if KC, Philly, Buffalo or Baltimore wants a lightning fast weaponthey lose Turpin, then Deuce gets return opportunities too.
Turpin should be at or near the top of their priority list. They need to resign and they can give him more snaps on offense.they lose Turpin, then Deuce gets return opportunities too.
If we don't participate in FA and we don't bring back Dowdle at $5-6M, then getting a RB in the first three rounds(no fourth) is a must. If Osa(projected $18-20M) leaves, then DT becomes a priority for round one or two. If we don't resign Jourdan Lewis, (Diggs out till camp), CB becomes a top 3 round priority. If Kendricks walks(Overshown out for the year) we will be desperate for a starting LB. If Cooks and Turpin walk, we will need a WR in the first 3 rounds. If Tank leaves we need a DE. Both out backup safties are FA's. Both out backup QB's are FA's. We could use another OL. We need a backup Nose Tackle for Mazi. I guess we can fill three of those things with the top 3 rounds and the rest can be rounds 5-7 and URFA's.Turpin should be at or near the top of their priority list. Trade Micah for garret? Thats a pretty good for both. Just a thoughtI'm so sick of Jerry Jones. Like clockwork, it's Super Sunday, and it comes out this morning that the Cowboys have had "internal discussions" about whether to trade Micah or pay him. For Jerry, even if that's true, what POSSIBLE good does it do him to put that out there besides getting his name in the news after his teams shit season? Coverage over Wins, always. The Circus never ends
I would just as soon pay Micah. They wouldn't be trading him because they are unhappy with him, they are pretending to be broke so that when they do resign him, they'll be able to pretend they had to let the 7 starters we have that are FA's walk because they signed Micah. It's bullcrapTrade Micah for garret that’s pretty good for both? Just a thought
I think this no matter what we do. I'm more than a little surprised that people still are thinking that Deuce is an NFL RB after watching him the last two years. He's just too small and it's not like he is incredibly shifty.I was thinking about the addition of Riley. I think the guy who might get a real shot to be legit #2 RB is Deuce. Good for Cle, sure, how is it good for Dallas?Trade Micah for garret? Thats a pretty good for both. Just a thought
